It is still night when we get up and it is night before we start supper. The winter months can be predicted every year. Winter days stand for less hours of sunshine and less daylight. And we people brighten up with daylight and sun. The last thing you want is less light in your own home. Or worse; that you do not notice the difference between the winter weather and your lighting at home.

To begin with, lighting in a home has at least three types of functions, namely basic lighting, practical lighting and mood lighting (accent lighting and decorative lighting). In every home where light illuminates, basic lighting is present and often also practical lighting. Think of a reading light or spots that illuminate your worktop.
